We select the operators who run the deals, negotiate the terms our investors come in on, and co-sponsor alongside them — which keeps us accountable for the life of the hold rather than only at closing. Because we allocate instead of running one deal at a time, we can invest across four asset classes rather than defend one.
The reason we can credibly do that is the sibling arm. Foxtail Investment Management asset-manages more than 250 units across nine states as its day job.
Sponsor oversight is not a promise we make to investors. It is the business we already run.
Founder · The Foxtail Group
Two decades of real estate across two continents, and the operating work is still done in-house.
Ankur Chadha is the founder of The Foxtail Group and the principal behind Foxtail Capital. He brings two decades of real estate experience across two continents to every deal the desk brings to a buyer.
Born and raised in the UK, he began his career in commercial real estate investment in London in 2007, transacting on more than £100M of commercial property — across multifamily, retail, industrial and office — through every market cycle since. In 2020 he relocated to the United States, became a licensed California real estate broker (DRE# 02163100), and immersed himself in the US market across syndication, fund management and investor relations.
Today he runs The Foxtail Group — Foxtail Partners (off-market), Foxtail IM (asset management) and Foxtail Capital (private equity). Origination, operating and allocation sit under one roof, so each function informs the others rather than running on assumption.
He works directly with every investor. There is no relationship management layer between the person placing your capital and the person answerable for the decision.
